Welcome To Euro Horse Imports

We specialise in the importation and reselling of low volume quality animals mainly into the UK but also North America market. We source our stock mainly from breeders/sellers all over Europe and beyond buying to order but also for open sale once landed and fully apprised. We handle everything from original purchase/importation/appraisal/vetting to final delivery direct to your door if required.

Our aim is as much as possible to match the right animal with the right owner making the purchase as pleasant and hassle free as possible. We DONT sell on price, in fact the opposite we place ourselves at the middle to top end of the market and purposely so, good animals cost money its as simple as that. For that you get a first class animal with a first class service with full backup and warranties. We are well aware of the potential minefield of problems that can surface when purchasing a new horse. To minimise this we feel we have gone as far as possible to eliminate prior to sale many possible issues and have excellent procedures in place to find a sensible professional solution if they do. A good business is measured by its actions when things go wrong not its sales pitch or cheap price. Most not all of our horses are pre-vetted prior to being sold.

You will notice in our “horses for sale descriptions” we never use the term/s suitable for novice, bombproof, 100% in all ways, school master/mistress etc. Over the years and after making many mistakes we have come to accept and realise this type of animal does not exist. All horses will have quirks, issues, good and bad points, good and bad days and if that isn’t acceptable then please don’t consider buying from us but thank you for your interest. For these reasons we don’t sell to novice buyers unless they can demonstrate a reasonable level of competence or have available experienced help. Horse ownership is a partnership and like a marriage there are good and bad days. Were looking for clients that don’t throw to towel in at the first bad day but work through them and learning from the experience.

We don’t have set terms and conditions (just guidelines) as we prefer to agree individual terms after talking to our potential customers. This way we have a much better idea and chance of meeting your requirements and expectations. As a rule we will always sell with a full trial be it a week or a month and will insist on a full vetting during this trial. All buyers will be vetted and asked to complete a short form stating their requirements and wishes along with their knowledge/experience to include there ability to afford the upkeep of horse ownership and likewise will will complete our part of the same form which includes a full appraisal of how the horse has been while with us. We will state openingly and honestly any issue regardless of how minor. This will relate to your needs as clearly if required for breeding only there is no need to offer our opinion on riding/jumping ability unless requested by you. Please don’t read the above as us being down on novice buyers/riders were not, after all we were all novice at some point. Its just experience has learnt us after making so many errors and mistakes ourselves the potential for problems are so much greater with inexperienced people and we would rather be upfront and state that from the beginning. We have learnt form our past mistakes openingly admitting/accepting them and feel this puts us in a better position to now get it right even if it ruffles a few feathers
